Use

In the equipment master record you link to a pre-existing variant. This has the advantage that changes to the variant must only be performed once centrally and are displayed directly in the equipment master record.

Prerequisites

The piece of equipment has not yet been configured.

Procedure

  1. Call up the equipment master record in the Change mode.
  2. Choose the tab page Conf. Data.
  3. Assign a configurable material.
  4. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Link Ref.

    5. A dialog box is displayed.

  5. Enter the variants and the plant, and choose Continue.

    6. You return to the Configuration data screen.

  6. Save your data.
